ppe usesage rules
i use ppe channeling rule in my games a long with the following
a mage can over charge with ppe from supplemental sources ie leylines, nexus, etc up to 3 times thier base ppe
ie. a mage with 200 ppe could draw and fold a extra 600 ppe for a total of 800 ppe and can hold the extra ppe for 1 min per PE point
a mage can channel a max of 600 ppe per level per melee in a ritual or for any reason seldomly a issue.

alchemy and mystic herbology
in my games i allow both the alchemy skill and mystic herbology skill to be learned by other magic occs but at the cost of 6 skills each
if they wanted both i would allow a combination of skills and spells to be sacrificed.
